What is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise created by Joseph Pilates who was a boxing trainer, gymnast, martial arts, and yoga practitioner. This method can be performed on a mat or specialized equipment utilizing spring resistance.

I’m new to Pilates altogether! Which class should I start out with?

There is no wrong way to start Pilates. All of our classes are open level and we’ve received great feedback from clients that starting with a private session sets you up for success before entering group classes.

I’m new to your studio, do you have any intro offers for new clients?

We have a newbie perk! If you purchase a “Newbie Class Pack” on your first visit, your first class will be FREE. Otherwise, all we ask is a simple drop-in fee — no strings attached.

What should I wear?

Fitness does not have an opinion on how you show up. Wear whatever you feel comfortable moving your body in! All we ask is to avoid zippers to protect our equipment.

When do I need to arrive to class?

Please arrive 5 minutes before class starts.

Can I walk in and sign up for class at the studio?

To avoid disappointment we highly recommend signing up to reserve your spot through our online scheduling system or Momence App. Reminder! We are a cashless studio, all purchases are made through our scheduling system.




I’ve signed up for the waitlist for a class. How will I know if I got in?

If a space opens up and you are added into the class, you will be notified via email or text up to an hour before the start of class. Be sure to have your notifications turned on! If you don’t get in, the class will be added back to your account.




How many times a week should I take class?

However many times you want! There is no ideal number of sessions. Do what feels best for you. Consistency is key!




What is your cancellation policy?

Wick has a firm 24 hour cancellation policy for both classes and sessions. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged in full. Rescheduled appointments will be treated as new appointments. Cancellations must be done by the client through our online scheduling system or Momence.

 

Do classes have expiration dates?

Single sessions have 1 month expiration, 5 and 10 packs have 4 months expiration, 20 packs have 6 month expiration.
