The Team

Becca Jane (she/her)

Becca Jane completed her 500+ hour teacher training in 2017 and has been focusing on helping individuals and communities feel their best. She loves seeing clients discover their sustainable “why” for fitness and find more joy in movement.

Becca Jane loves fun and challenging activities such as boxing, skateboarding, and surfing. The Pilates method won her over once she realized it kept her mind and body healthy beyond the studio and continues to support the activities she loves.

Georgia (she/they)

Georgia is a movement enthusiast, aiming to help people find fun and joy in moving their bodies. As someone who lives with Rheumatoid Arthritis, they understand that being kind and patient with your body is important and everyone needs something a little different. Coming from a background in dance and fitness, Georgia began teaching Pilates in 2017 and enjoys creating classes that are both fun yet challenging. They also like to think they’re funny and will try to make you laugh during difficult exercises.

Georgia is excited to move with you and can’t wait to help you with your goals, whatever they may be.

Their pilates practice and teaching style are deeply informed by their contemporary dance training, injury prevention techniques, as well as a love for the classical Pilates method. In Sophie's classes, the focus is always on safety & stability, while also allowing space for excitement in movement exploration and informed risk-taking. They're stoked to be able to share their passion for Pilates with their community in Bushwick!

Get excited for her amazing playlist of R&B/soul, Bold personality, Pilates therapist and overall “That girl” energy!

Brooke (she/her)

Brooke is a proud resident of Bushwick who discovered Pilates as an undergraduate theatre student almost ten years ago, and never looked backed! She has been teaching professionally since completing her equipment certification in 2017, but has a soft spot for the freedom and convenience of Mat work. She has been practicing for 9 years and teaching for 5. Brooke loves the mental and physical healing powers of the classical Pilates method, and also loves biking around the city, running, hot yoga, and dance.

She is passionate about helping clients progress and surprise themselves again and again, and how movement can empower and enrich. Brooke is also a second year Masters of Social Work candidate at Hunter College and working to become a certified mental health clinician post-graduation. She is an avid believer in the mind-body-spirit connection.

The somatic and mindfulness of the Pilates practice has been a grounding and enhancing part of Amanda's dance training. Amanda is excited to continue growing, connecting, and moving with the community of Bushwick.
